Who we are

Al Qalam AI Solutions ("we", "us", "our") is a business consultancy and agency licensed by the Abu Dhabi Registration Authority (licence CN-6316697) and operating from Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. This policy explains how we handle personal data across our website and the managed services we provide to clients.

Data we collect

Website enquiries: when you use our contact form we collect the name, email address, and message you provide.

Client service data: when we deliver our Social Media & Messaging Management service, we process data belonging to our client and to that client's customers — for example WhatsApp messages, Facebook and Instagram interactions, and campaign data.

Technical data: a single first-party cookie stores your language preference. We do not set advertising or third-party tracking cookies without consent.

Platform Data from Meta

When a client appoints us to manage their Meta accounts, we access data that Meta makes available ("Platform Data") strictly on that client's behalf and with their permission. This may include message threads and delivery status from WhatsApp Business, Facebook and Instagram page and post insights, and comments and direct messages.

We use Platform Data only to operate the service the client has asked for — responding to their customers, publishing content, and reporting results back to the client. We do not sell Platform Data, we do not use it for our own advertising, and we do not combine it across different clients.

Legal basis and data ownership

Personal data is processed under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021). Where we process a client's Platform Data, we act as a processor on the client's documented instructions; the client remains the owner and controller of that data and of the underlying Meta assets.

Storage, security, and retention

Data is held on secured infrastructure with access limited to the team members who need it to deliver the service. We retain website enquiry data only as long as needed to respond and to meet record-keeping duties. Client Platform Data is retained only for the duration of the engagement and is returned or deleted when the engagement ends, unless the law requires otherwise.

Sharing and sub-processors

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (for example secure hosting and email delivery), each bound to protect it, and with authorities where the law requires. Platform Data is shared only back with the client it belongs to.

Your rights and deleting your data

Under the UAE PDPL you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of the processing of your personal data, and you may object to processing or ask for portability.

If your data is processed as part of a client's Meta account that we manage, we will refer your request to that client, who controls the data, and assist them in fulfilling it. To request deletion, see our Data Deletion page or email hello@alqalamai.ae.
